Chronicle digital copy issue

Guys i bought Chronicle on Blu-ray yest and it came with a free digital copy. I got it from tecos. When i enter the code into iTunes i get a message that i need to insert my digital copy dvd but i didn't get one and there wouldn't have been one in the box. I contacted apple and they have said there is nothing they can do and to contact the manufacturer. I have but not had a reply and i want to put this on my iPad for my travels this weekend. What can i do and does anyone have a similar issue?

Same issue here with the steelbook from play.com. I sent an email to the fox support address on Saturday but still not had a reply. May have to resort to just ripping the disc instead

Do you think it might be worth making the distributors like play etc aware of the problem?

I think you have to enter the code from the insert into the digitalcopy website to retrieve an itunes code. Not tried myself as i don't bother with digital copies.

i did that and it didn't help. The code it gives you at the end is the same as the one you type in in the first place!

Maybe try it again later.
Someone on Amazon said the Fox website gave them a code that worked with iTunes without needing the disc. Maybe the website hadn't been fixed yet when you tried it.

Problem with Chronicle digital copy has been fixed!

I had the same issue but this has now been fixed. When you log into foxdigitalcopy.co/uk/go you are instructed to enter the code found inside the box. The site is then supposed to generate a NEW code which you then cut & paste into itunes. Instead it was just repeating the same code you had just entered. Fox are aware and have resolved this issue so if you try again you should find that you are provided with a new code which works fine!
