Universal are releasing a set of special Augmented Reality edition films on the 23rd April 2012. The set is made up of 13 catalogue titles on Blu-ray and DVD, with a further 2 only on DVD. This thread is simply to provide a list of all the titles available along with a preview image of the associated augmented reality feature.

The augmented reality feature is activated by either viewing the cover of the appropriate title through the app. It works either with the physical title in front of you or the cover images provided below.

Thanks for that. It wasn't clear from the Amazon listing what the Augmented feature was.

I'm guessing these are just re packaged editions of existing Blu Ray prints.

Yeah they are just repackaged editions with new covers. The augmented feature is a waste of money, short little animation with some audio. Would have preferred lenticular covers myself or at least more classics from the vault. Hopefully The Birds and Dracula will make it over to Blu-ray but being Universal might be better if they don't.

...off to HMV soon to see if I can pick up 'The Blues Brothers'...I wonder if cover art inside on the actual bluray case matches the slip?...will post pics on slipcover thread tonight if I pick it up.
