MI4 blu ray ... out reg.1 but what a price !

I see that one or two USA suppliers are now showing Mi4 blu ray available for delivery ... but what a price !

£22 notes for the blu ray plus £3 minimum delivery so £25 total.

I really want this film but there is no way I am paying that ... I will wait till the UK release end of this month.

Staggered by these price levels, just rediculous

Thats the usual kind of price for a new import to be fair

can be had for £21.99 inc free delivery here: Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol - Combo Pack Blu-Ray + DVD + Digital Copy if you cant wait

It's a lot of money, but for a while now most new big American bluray releases go for between £20-£25, I suppose it's the price you pay for wanting something early.

I've Pre ordered the UK play steelbook for £17.99 it's out at the end of the month, so not too long to wait, if you want to wait a couple months aftet release it will probably go down in price by quite a bit.

Thanks mate but that one is not released will 17th April, so just 2 weeks before the UK otherwise may have been tempted.

The ones who have copies available for immediate delivery now are round the £25 mark.

I have seen the UK steelbook advertised ... which does look fantastic tbh.
At least by waiting for the UK release we are treated to that, which does make up for the wait I guess.
Normally would not be too fused about the wait, but I missed Mi4 at the cinema, so REALLY keen to see the blu ray now.

Yes but its the same release, the other companies dispatching now are doing so because they ship from abroad and it could take up to 2 weeks for delivery whereas they dispatch from the UK

Eitherway, doesnt seem worthwhile when the UK release is out very soon

I'm going to wait until the inevitable MI Complete boxset is that price.

Yeah, you know it will happen ... and then £25 notes for Mi4 alone will be even more crazy

I wouldn't mind so much if the IMAX scenes where shown full frame for the blu-ray, that would give some justification for an inflated price tag, but as far as I know, we just get plain wide screen all through the movie with no imax cut scenes

You'll just have to accept that some people have a lot of ready cash to off-load and don't mind spending some of it on discs.

It depends how long you've been waiting for something or how big a fan you are of it. I paid top whack for Apocalypse Now and it was worth every penny. I wouldn't for this, but there are people who will.

My copy of MI:4 was shipped yesterday from PlanetAxel at just over £20 delivered thanks to the free shipping if buying in canadian dollars.

I never caught it at the cinema and expect to be able to sell it on here for close to what I have paid so why not import it lol

Yea I don't normally keep the early imports due to the high cost I paid, better to sell it for close to what I paid and buy it again later when it's half the price.

As for the extras I hardly ever watch them so it's not a big deal for me but I know it's been a big annoyance to others on certain forums that the US Best Buy release has exclusive extras only available in the UK from Sainsburys and only on DVD.

Only on DVD, if you want it on BD you will have to import it from Bluraysforeveryone or HDMovieSource.

Looking forward to this one.

Can't remember the last time I saw the other 3 films either.

I've treated myself to the Danish box set of the first 3 in preparation.

Hiya. Thanks...
Do you know if I'll get stung on Customs etc if I order from either of these site? I've heard good things about Bluraysforeveryone but I need to be sure they are "customs friendly".

Both are customs friendly but with Bluraysforeveryone it's best to order several titles at once otherwise shipping can be very expensive.

Can be had here for a fair price...

http://www.dvdoo.dk/blu-ray-film/mis...ay_136119.html

and there is a 4 film set due out towards the end of May but works out cheaper to get the Trilogy and then the 4th film separately.

Just out of curiosity, is the US disc as translucent as the UK one? Without screenprinting the whole disc, if you hold it up to the light you can almost see through it. Which is odd. Seems to work, though.
