Lethal Weapon 2 and 4 are cut in the UK.
I bought LW2 on US Bluray a while ago but still waiting for a boxset.
I've not heard of 2 and 4 being reclassified .
4 has numerous cuts.

No doubt they could easily get uncut 18 today or maybe even 15 but I've not heard of any new classification

Or they could do a Tango & Cash/Nico and just release them without reclassification...

No actual release date though

Can't understand why we've never had a decent Lethal Weapon boxset

Never bothered with the DVDs, as I assumed WB would eventually release a decent package, but it never happened

It's released on November the 15th according to amazon and love film.

the only problem is are they the directors cuts or theatrical versions and will they be the certificate 15 rated bbfc hacked versions of part 2 and 4

Cool

Although Mel Gibson being being somewhere in the bottom of actors I like even before that phone call, if I can get this at a good price i will go for it even though 3 and 4 were silly and together not half as good as 1 or 2.

There's no reason why LW2 couldn't get the cuts waived at '18' if Warners could be bothered to resubmit it. Waiving the cuts for LW4 might just be pushing its original '15' rating though. I know something like Bad Boys 2 seems far worse and that got a '15', yet the comedy angle of that flick tends to offset the gratuitous violence. Sure, LW4 is another buddy-cop movie, but that final fight between Gibbo + Glover + Li is just plain brutal.

If you ever see a '15' rated version of Tango and Cash it's the cut version. Uncut version was passed at '18' many moons ago, so no sneakiness required in that case. Nico, on the other hand...

Lethal Weapon 3 is bizarrely my favourite after a rewatching of the DVD box set. Not sure why really. 1 would be my least favourite - perhaps because its the most serious and least comedic of them and I guess its the comedy angle I like in the films.

I'll have some of that, recently scored the Dirty Harry box set for about £18 on Blu from Play, would not be prepared to pay much more for the four Lethal Weapons though.

Fun films, but limited re-playability IMHO.

Only the first two for me, I can't remember anything about 3 and 4 but I do remember I was bored by them on watching the DVD's and sold them on.

Patsy Kensit for me, how she could have ever went for a muppet like Liam Gallagher is beyond me, just goes to show though ... looks aint everything!

She's probably as about shallow as most blonde bimbo's.

I'd not say no, though.

Lethal Weapon 2 should have 'Diplomatic Immunity' from any cuts

The only part of LW3 I can remember is the building blowing up for real at the start. 1 & 2 are the only ones I remember!

...also right after the credits in LW3 another building blows up, adding more to the comedy element.

I like all of them and if the transfers and sound are right, including no cuts I may well upgrade my DVDs.

In my view LW4 has a completely different feel in its uncut format, as the violence is more brutal and has an edge to it

Chris Rock has one of my favourite lines in the entire series, in Part 4.

"Stop! Stop in Chinese, motherf*****r!!"

I don't understand the reason for releasing this, because aren't they making a number 5? But then I suppose it happens all the time with boxsets

Don't count on it. Not with Gibson's latest rant.

I'm not touching it until reviews come out.
I already have parts 1 and 2 on US BD, so they need to improve those.

Are these the extended versions (1 to 3 extended isnt it?)

£18 would be a good price point for this box I think.

You do realise that most Blonde bimbos are just brunettes with hair die.

LW2 has just been classified by the BBFC today on the video format a 15 certificate. It's the theatrical cut (boo) and I assume this is for blu ray..... but ALL PREVIOUS CUTS HAVE BEEN WAIVED.
