Unhappy Bad Boys - Confirmed June 1st 2010 release date

Bad Boys was suppose to be coming to Blu-ray 1st Jan 2010 but now its changed to 19th April

Does anyone know why?

This happend not long ago for Rush Hour 1 & 2 which were suppose to be coming around a month ago this year, but now they've changed untill middle next year

Really looking forwards to bad boys I and II, don't care for Rush Hour though.

I'd like it if they released both Bad Boys in a box set for £25, I'd buy it.

As it is, I'll take Bad Boys as it comes out. No idea why it's late though.

Bad Boys keeps getting postponed which is especially frustrating as this film was featured on many of the original Blu-Ray advertising trailers.

Watched the DVD again the other night... probably one of the finest upscaled images you can find.
I wonder how the blu-ray could be much better.

I have the Superbit DVD versions of Bad Boys 1 & 2 and upscaled on my BD80 look amazing. However saying that I WILL be buying these on Blu. I really like these films, pure entertainment.

Just dont understand why Sony keep changing the date, would have thought both BB films would be a great money maker on Blu.

Bad Boys is still advertised on the leaflets you get inside the Sony Blu-Ray cases, I think it has been since the format was launched.

On the subject of advertising, has anyone seen the Blu-Ray advert yet? I'm not sure how long it's been on TV but I saw it for the first time this afternoon
on E4. It features Ice Age 3, Inglourious Basterds and a couple of other new releases.

Just found it here:

Maybe this is why it's on almost every night on Sky HD! Milking it until it's released on blu. Suppose it makes a change from showing films which I already own all the time

According to HMV and Blu-ray.com the release date for BB is now the 21st December:

hmv.com: blu-ray: Bad Boys (2009)

Bad Boys Blu-ray (1995)

Hopefully this date will stay and not change again

For some reason i have my doubts that any current dates the retailers have on their site for its release is real.

Its most probably the same as the Finding Nemo on Amazon.
Its been their for ages, and Amazon just changes the date whenever we get closer to it.

Specs for both the US and UK discs are now confirmed. The artwork is a bit crap for the US disc, hopefully they'll stick with the DVD art for the UK Blu-Ray release

I hope thats incorrect.

Not that it makes any difference to me right now as i dont have HD Audio, but plan to next year.
And the fact that why would the US release get it but not the UK one?

Got my US copy from Movietyme yesterday. I had a quick scan and it looked nice but I was surprised that the aspect ratio fills the screen. Does anyone know if that is the original aspect ratio?
