Best place to rent blu ray (and possibly games)

I've had enough of sky and am beginning to think renting blu ray discs and going up the pub to watch footie is the way to go. Where is th best place to rent discs from?

easyCinema.com : low cost movie entertainment from Stelios, the founder of easyJet

Been using this service for over a year now.

Its great, really can't fault it.

Lovefilm are pretty good, not perfect by any means, but I've been with them over 4 years now, with no real problems.

LoveFilm power easyCinema and Tesco - I use Tesco but consistently have to wait for titles (even tho they are priority rated) to arrive. Took about 6 months for Quantum of Solace to arrive after release - its all a bit hit and miss for me. Great if you really dont mind what arrives ... I end up treating it as a surprise through the letterbox !!

With Tesco, do they choose the films then?

Here's an alternative: Welcome to LidlMovies! Rent Unlimited Amount of DVDs.

Not used them and it was a surprise that they offered the service.

Seems like the pricing is keen, slightly less than Lovefilm.

Assuming it works the same as Lovefilm (as they are behind them) you put a load of stuff on your rental lists and you can rate each of them either high/medium/low priority, but yes essentially, they decide what they're going to send you.

If you want to watch a particular title, then Lovefilm/Tesco is probably not your best bet.

Does Lidl's work the same? I saw elsewhere that the range of titles wasn't so good. What I may do is start with Lidle and then look to change if I need more titles.

[I] prefer blockbuster to LF, plenty of these companys offer decent trial periods, plenty offer promotions on the like of quidco as well. Why not seem which one suits you best. As for LF plenty of people swear by them and plenty of swear at them.

It looks like none of them tie you into a contract so I can always change. As I haven't seen many revent films though, it may be best to start with Lidl if they're the cheapest and then change if I find availability limited
