Re: dvd pacific?

I used to use them ALL the time but eventually gave up- kept getting stung with custom's charges.

Re: dvd pacific?

Cheers for letting me know, I ordered something and they wouldn't accept my card details for payment, and the order has gone to void, but it all seemed weird and they never replied to any e-mails and on the skype call when i asked what the problem was they hung up, twice. Just making sure it wasn't a scam site

Re: dvd pacific?

It's not a scam site but they have always been really bad at replying to any emails I sent them.

Haven't used them in a while....well not since the exchange rate went to pieces.

Re: dvd pacific?

I used them for years when dvd was king, Just be careful about the customs limit. Always reliable with delivery times though.

Thumbs up Re: dvd pacific?

Best site I ever used for DVD then HD-DVD & now Bluray. Always very quick with delivery and always quick to respond to any emails but obviously they are on US time as based in Florida so depending on when you email it can take what seems like an age but when you realise this its understandable.

Customs is only an issue when you go above the limit as it should be but even then they delivery and you get the customs bill later (Depending on courier). I always use Fed-Ex as door to door it takes under 36 hours which is amazing service considering the distance and fully trackable online all the way.

Cool Re: dvd pacific?

Watch out for their postage rates Im sure they charge per disc and thats on top of postage, if its a 3 DVD box film i.e. 1 film and 2 documentries on 2 disc it you pay postage on order, then postage on 3 DVD's.

I have been using them for the past month, and have nothing but praise for them, i havent had any issued with customs, and i think the longest delivery time i have had is 9 days which considering it comes from the US is not that bad.

Postage Charges are ok, i always think you pay for what you get.

Problems..far from it.

I'm not sure how many years I have been using them but it is a lot now. They may not always be the cheapest but there damn close most of the time and when they aren't and considering their prices, shipping, customer service and huge range are all brilliant these guys will always be my number one.

Over time they have proved to be the best there is always being very consistent if your going to import movies or cd's as have been around forever now.
