HD iTunes version of Dead Set not 5.1

The HD version of Dead Set on iTunes is not in 5.1 surround

My amp says it's 3/2.1, can anyone explain what 3/2.1 is?

All I know is it's only coming out of the sub and rears. Being a HD program I would have expected 5.1

3/2.1 is 5.1

3 at the front, 2 at the rear + 0.1 for the sub.

ahh I see, thanks.

It sounds like it's all coming out of the 2 rear speakers and the sub though, nothing from the 3 fronts.

Strange - I assume this is not happening with 5.1 dvds then? Its not an amp setup issue??

No it's not an amp issue, Peep Show which is also iTunes HD work like it should do, and Blu-rays also.

It must be the way they have encoded it. I'll report it on iTunes and see what they say.
