REMOVED...genuine discs or copies?

They are selling the classic Disneys for £19.99 (inc Beauty and The Beast and Snow White which normally go for double that...) - anybody dealt with them before? Are their discs genuine or copies...?

Found their ad on hidefdigest and it seems odd a UK company selling US discs on a IS site IYSWIM...

Well if those Disney discs are well out of print and stock cannot be found elsewhere then I'd say its very unlikely these guys have landed upon a surprise bundle of them.

Just thought i'd sign up and let you guys know we bought Beauty & the Beast from REMOVED and the DVD sent to us was definately a fake.

It was posted from Thailand, no hologram, just an image, and half of that image was missing - like it'd been sliced off in the guillotine.

It did however play on our Sony DVD player - the picture quality was ok & it was in 5.1 surround. I dont know if thats good enough substitute for paying £16 for a copy, but there you go.

We did pay via PayPal, so have raised a dispute - response so far is that all their DVDs are "fully licensed imports".

We have also have spoken to Trading Standards who have taken note, but no feedback as yet. Am thinking of reporting them to FACT, just waiting to see the result of the PayPal dispute.
