You Tube Downloads

I dont know if this is the right place for this 'cos I have not done anything like it before..but I have just cottoned on to downloading some nifty jazz from YouTube.

Being almost useless technically wise on computer stuff, I would like to transfer some of it to DVD so I can play some of them via my DVD Recorder on to my biggish Plasma T/V.

I did one (dont ask how) and the picture was diabolical.

Am I likely to always get a bad picture by doing this or is there another way or better way of being able to transfer a good quality picture from these
YouTube videos (some in HD) to a DVD to play on the Tele.

Thanks in advance.

Good question Beany Boy. I'd like to know this too.

Thanks MJ.

All we need now then is a few of the " stalwarts " to respond with some answers.

They seem a tad shy at the moment but I will continue to hope !
