Re: Ripping DVDs

Hi bud and welcome to the forum!

WinAVI is pretty good at this and has a easy to use interface, but there are ofcourse millions of tools to do the job.

Re: Ripping DVDs

Best ones, IMHO, are DVD Decrypter (no longer sopprted, so doesn't always work on recent titles) and DVDFab.

Re: Ripping DVDs

Yes I guess DVDshrink would help... and dvdfab is great for ripping dvd's but I think dvdfab won't convert to avi/divx

You're correct of course... I thought he only wanted a tool for ripping dvd's like mentioned in the title, not also for converting to avi...
I should read the whole thing before answering...

Re: Ripping DVDs

Hey mate, I am doing the same thing right now and i am using Magic DVD Ripper. Very easy to use and works very well to rip dvd's into avi format. Great now as i am having all my movies onto my new external hard drive then i'll just wtach them through my xbox 360 now.
