returning dvd/blu-rays to hmv-pls help

Hi,
I bought the "godfather" boxset on blu-ray from hmv instore. Got home and tried the blu and it, half way throught the film the picture froze up and would not start again. Tired it on the ps3 and the same thing happend.

I won't be back into town until the 14th of september. Will I be able to take the dvd and get my money back?

I doubt you'll get a cash refund, they'll either offer a replacement or a credit note

As above, they should just replace the movie for you, shouldn't be too much of an issue..

These Godfather Blu-Rays seem to be very poor, you very often hear people having problems with them, and they can take about 5 minutes to load as well

Thanks for all the replies. I have been having alot of problems with the Godfather boxset. Will be able to get something else to the same value?

If you put forward your case, politely, and express to them how disappointed you are with the Godfather issues, I doubt they will have any problem giving you store credit..
