Re: dvd pacific

I used dvd pacific much more when the £ was "worth" $2, very reliable though opting for the cheaper postage option will leave you with a long wait. Movietyme are much quicker, probably dearer though.

Re: dvd pacific

DVDpacific are excellent, used them many times.

However their postage is a tad expensive. And due to the £ dropping you cannot get enough items in the basket under £18 to make it justified.

It usually works out cheaper to get the movie from Amazon UK marketplace through the likes of Caimen.

But DVDpacfiic are excellent if you do want to buy from them. As are Deepdiscount.com

Re: dvd pacific

I am still importing majority of my region 1 DVD's from DVD Pacific. There shipping is much quicker of late, really quick actually. I still find them about the cheapest even when factoring in shipping costs for most stuff but they are always very reliable and easy to talk to by e-mail.

Re: dvd pacific

I only use them sparingly, the price of their postage put me off sometimes.

I've just used them for the 1st time and am quite happy. Prices were good and delivery took about 8 days. Having said that my last two Axel orders came in only 4 days!

My order a month or so ago was shipped fast and all discs individually. Used to use them a couple times before their owner change.

Anthony - I'm especially interested to hear of any one customs friendly with express delivery, as the title I want is due in a month

Movietyme, I believe, have a warehouse in the UK so ship main big release titles very rapidly and of course totally avoiding customs.

For Region A/R1 new release I would go for them first.

Also DVDpacific from my history with them are not that rapid at shipping.

Another alternative to look at would be Amazon.co.uk other sellers, I have used Caimen very often and can recommend them highly.

Hi Anton-I have a seller disagreement with amazon so giving them my new card details may not be wise-axel only offer one delivery rate-dvdworldusa are at the back of my mind-ebay I have a seller dispute with paypal. Are you aware of Caimen having their own site?
