Amazon on Demand?

Any Idea when Amazon Video on Demand is coming to the UK/EU? Assuming that it is coming.
Would it work with the newest Panasonic Bluray Players and Viera cast?

Amazon VOD / other streaming video direct to TVs in United Kingdom

Little bits of news. LoveFilm seem to be Amazon's UK film department for home rentals and streaming. The compatible technology seems only being released now, the middle of 2010, TVs anyway so far. While I think Blu-Ray players have yet to be released and are coming soon.

See this discussion:

Amazon.co.uk: Customer Discussions: Panasonic DMP-BD60 Blu Ray Player: Viera Cast & Amazon On Demand in U.K. / Europe

And, myself, I am interested in news of Netflix coming to UK, and what on earth Cinema Now is and if it's available in UK on computer or TV. LG's Blu-Ray players already claim Cinema Now compatibility, but does that mean in UK? And as far as I can work out Cinema Now is just a straightforward Web network service, i.e. international, with broad international agreements (rather than the country by country way the other companies seem to want to develop by establishing new and separate national companies).

Is the LG advertising lore, offering Cinema Now home movie streaming with some of its Blu-Ray players again (like Netflix) confined to USA only?

Anyway, it may be quite a train-spotterish question as Cinema Now seem to have extremely few films available. Yet, still, a couple of months of interest may be had while waiting for a comprehensive TV streaming service.
