Navajo Joe
The Big Gundown
Johnny Yuma
A Pistol For Ringo
Blindman
Nebraska Jim
Four Of The Apocalypse

Those are all absolute spaghetti western classics that you should make sure you see.

Re: So who loves westerns

I grew up on those great Sergio Leone westerns my dad loved them and allowed us to stop up late to watch them on TV but I also used to love some of the (some would say cheesy) westerns of the 50's do check out if you can find any on DVD, classic Audey Murphy just great great stuff.

Re: So who loves westerns

A small hand full of my favourite films are Western's (Johnny Guitar, Once Upon a Time..., The Searchers) but I have to admit that the Western is among my less favourite genres.

You need 'Glory'.

It gets a release any day now (A but free) on Blu.

Treat yourself, you will love it.

Re: So who loves westerns

Ullzana's Raid (get the USA copy as the UK version has nearly all the horse stunts cut, badly)

Soldier Blue (Last I checked my German issue was uncut only, may have changed now , you need it uncut)

Chato's Land (again got the R1 versions as it was uncut)
Red Sun
Breakheart Pass
The above three are all Charles Bronson westerns and very good.

Pat Garrett & Billy the Kid (1973)

Bad Company (1972)

None of these are spaghetti westerns , a bit more of the gritty type that came out in the USA around the 70's, some of them are very violent, but they are all good.

Would White Buffalo count as a western?

Me too.

I realised what they meant by pornography of violence and exploitation.

Just about the sickest film I've ever seen.

Goodtimes as beein a long time memeber you should know the forum rules as to duplicating theads in more than one forum you have the same exact opening post here,
if you post in the wrong forum get a mod to move it

Rule 8 Create their new threads in more than one forum. (Doing so is called cross-posting). You should pick the single most appropriate forum for your message
