Noticed at first this was down as the same version as the original release, now noticed this one comes with a digital copy which I'm very happy with as its my favourite film.

I'm reluctant to get this as possibly one of the worst transfers I've seen, surely a remaster is on the way soon. Nice looking steel though, prefer it when they stick to the original artwork.

I wasn't going to bother. However after seeing the designs on the inside, back cover & disc, I've had a change of heart. Looks great.

I bet anyone else reading this has got this expression on their face -

Why must you always be so RUDE about Mr Jolly?! You'll ruin our relationship with him!

Staying OT but on a related to Mr Jolly note - Five Go to Rehab is the first new Comic Strip in ages and will be shown on Gold channel shortly. Trouble is, I havent got the Gold channel

There's also a new Comic Strip documentary on Gold tonight as well but I guess that point's moot for you.

I'm going to get the parents to Sky+ it for me later as I'm being made to go out tonight.

I hate these cold dark nights.

Received my copy today. It's a very nice steelbook, shame they haven't sorted out the transfer though. Still, for less than £9, it's a bargain!

Quick question, I ordered my copy from the Hut (£8.45 I believe) - Do I have to sign for it or will they just drop it through my letterbox in a jiffy bag? I only ask as I've never ordered from them before.

I'm hoping my copy is waiting for me

I had the same email but from Zavvi saying that they were having trouble getting stock. Hope this isn't a regular occurrence.

TheHut / Zavvi usually send them in either bubble wrap (the kind that is tight on the steelbook and glued together, not exactly a jiffy bag) or small boxes.

thats your first one? ive had maybe 50+ of them recently as i ordered 18 steels (cancelled 17 of them)

the bottom line is they suck - the packaging isnt great, they are slow to send and the £2 saving on other places isnt worth it. plus if its damaged you are out of luck as you are unlikely to ever get a refund or replacement as 99% of returns never arrive back.

having seen the pics of these sony steels im in no rush to get them ill wait for amazon to drop their prices to £7.99 then get them.

+1 on that. I'll never use The Hut again. I ordered Total Recall steelbook off them for a good price. Turned up with lots of paint chips missing. Sent it back with the correct order return thing they wanted. Stupidly I didnt get a proof of posting. Nearly three weeks later now and they say they havent had it yet - this is ebay all over again! Despite a few emails they are now insisting that I tell them the proof of posting details - which I dont have. This looks like a scam to me and Im not happy. This would never happen with Amazon etc.

Its strange how all the other things I send in the post mysteriously get there over the past 3 years or so (not via ebay of course ). As it is, I think Ive just lost about £12.
