Could be tempted with Watchmen. I don't have the film and the artwork could be really excellent.

Not at all, I'm being 100% serious. Stop moaning and just enjoy the fact that a lot of our favourite films are getting the steel treatment. Sure there's a few crappy titles (okay more than a few), but it doesn't matter if you just pick your favourites. If these are £9.99 too it would be amazing.

With the exception of Shooter which has so far only had one steel release, all the others have had a least two steelbook incarnations.

Yeah, great 'exclusives'.....

I say again, this is getting silly now.

They aren't Pokemon. You haven't gotta get'em all. Don't buy if you don't like, you're not being forced too.

Some of us have the other steels some haven't. I'm personally looking forward to see the artwork on a couple of these exclusives.

Assuming this wave and the Bourne Trilogy get released in this calender year then the number of steelbooks that will be released this year is equal to all the steelbooks released before.

The first blu-ray steelbook was Sweeney Todd on 19th May 2008 and up to the three released on Boxing day 2011 there were a total of 62, so far there will be 62 released (assuming Bourne & this wave) by the 24th of September.

The studios sure have caught on

That is amazing. Still got a few more to go though if we're going to catch up with
Germany. Maybe someone should have a word with Play.com and say that whilst it's nice to have so many releases, that there's simply too many to afford and to many god damn re-releases!

What's difficult to understand? I'm saying that you should stop moaning and just pick your favourites and then saying that maybe Play.com could slow down a bit and stop with the re-releases. In glad that these will be released. Whilst there will be some rubbish titles and many re-releases, I don't have to buy them and I won't. Quite simple really.

Just a bit confused that in one post you told me to 'stop moaning' about it and yet a few later you were seemingly agreeing that there were 'to many god-damn releases'...

As you were though

Too many re-releases. I don't mind lots of releases as it means that there's more chance my favourite films will get the steel treatment. What I don't like is the same films getting released over and over again.

Exactly. As for them all being re-releases, well I'm sure not going to pay a fortune for Iron Man, Saving Private Ryan hasn't had a release without foreign text, the German version of Shooter doesn't have the best design, Watchmen Futureshop can't be topped and well GI Joe, I might be persuaded if it's under a tenner.

If these are steelbooks I will get Iron Man, Saving Private Ryan and Watchman. Hopefully if these are steels they will be around £9.99 like the fox releases.

I'd rather have it without any German writing on it though.
