Had a look at this instore HMV today priced at £25 and my local HMV unseal all of their steelbooks. So grubby handprints galore and a few scratches on most as some people don't know how to handle them. Anyway I'm an ex collector now but I would of been disappointed with this. Not to mention how much they are milking remarketing/re-releasing the first two films. Along with this you've got the re-packaged standard BD double set then two single releases with new slips. God knows how many different releases of the third are to come.

What are people doing with the silly triple play card ?

Do I remove it or keep it in the box or on the box ?

I used to keep them on the SB when I collected. Either way I would keep it somewhere, unfolded if possible. But that's just me.

Picked up one of these in HMV Horsham yesterday (last one on the shelf) at £25 in good condition too

Until I read this thread this morning I hadn't realised it had gone OOS/OOP so I think that deserves a double thumbs up

I already had the amarays but with the Dark Knight Rises steely in the post to me as I type, I couldn't resist

I opened mine last week to watch both of these before I saw the new film.

On closer inspection, not a fan of it at all. Feels a bit cheap to me.

I also had a nice ding under the card backing.

It's not out of print - HMV have it in stock online for £ 20 , with the 20% discount code that makes it £ 16.

Batman Begins & Dark Knight: Steelbook (2012): BLU-RAY: hmv.com

Gee thanks for that - guess the OP needs to adjust the OOS/OOP status then on the first post.

I have no idea who posted that this was out of print - I would never believe anything you read in here or anywhere else for that matter without checking here first :-
Compare Prices for Cheap Blu-rays and Box Sets at Bluray Collections.

fair to say HMV online is virtually the only place left with stock though
Batman Begins/The Dark Knight Limited Edition Steelbook - Triple Play (Blu-ray + DVD + Digital Copy)[Region Free] at Bluray Collections

sorry - I know it stings a bit to read that after you've already paid £ 25 for it but it might save someone else making the same mistake which is why I posted it.

Yep, not out of stock. Saw two of them in HMV yesterday, £20 though. So still in the actual shops some places.

If I were Max I would take it back and say the discs are faulty. Then order it online and save between £ 5 - 9 .
They take the proverbial sometimes considering it is the same shop when 1 store has it for £ 25 and the next town has it in for £ 20. You sometimes even find price differentials like that for the same product inside the same HMV - lazy.

My local HMV has loads at £20 each. Yet in the next town, there £25 - no continuity. I hate jumbo's. The Best Buy versions are much better (and cheap!)

Pretty sure there hasn't been another one and it does say limited edition numbered just like the jumbo one so it's got to be really.

Do agree though it does look a little slimmer doesn't it?!

EDIT: One of the reviews below confirms it's not a standard steelbook so that would indicate it's the jumbo.

I always thought the picture of the jumbo steelbook on amazon looked fegular sized. When I got it I was surprised to find it was a jumbo. Is there any other jumbo steelbooks out there(

as i mentioned in the steelbook protection thread the only other uk bluray jumbo is doctor who series 5. its also out on dvd jumbo alongside the recent story of film - an odyssey dvd jumbo which i think may be quite rare, possibly recalled? i know its going for silly prices.
