Panasonic BD35 Advice needed
Hi
I'm new and this is my first post here, I am thinking of buying a BD35 in the next couple of weeks, and I have searched for the answers to my questions but not had much luck, possibly not asking the right questions to find the answers.
Most of my questions are pretty basic but I would appreciate any help with them.
Essentially I have alot of DVD's (UK and US issue) and whilst I know the Blu-ray multi region fix is a hardware fix (I can't justify the cost at the moment).
I think, if I am right, that the DVD side can be hacked using a remote control unit (if so how is it done)?
Is this correct or does the BD35 play both PAL and NTSC straight out of the box?
My other question is does it come with an HDMI lead or do I need to buy one separately?
Thanks, I'm sure I'll have lots more questions later.

Re: Panasonic BD35 Advice needed
Yup, as per KF above, Region Free is easily done (you can add a hardware mod at a later stage for multi region Blu Ray if you want - apparently not an easy DIY job though!)
The Panasonic is unique in the budget sector (i believe) in that it'll do 1080p/24fps for NTSC SD DVD upscaling.
No HDMI either, but a good option is available for not too much cash from Amazon (cheapest place for the player too..) on the player page:
