Thanks for all the replies. Does this mean 'Snow White' is currently the only reported Tevion-incompatible title? Does anyone know if it works with any of the Tevion's close relatives, or with the F&H?

So no problems with playback once started? (e.g. pausing, or showing the timeline, or issues with subsequent attempts to play, as some owners of other machines affected by Avatar's BD+ have reported).

nope, the movie played perfectly. I haven't tried playing it a 2nd time but it wouldn't make a difference to me as i don't have a usb stick or network cable in mine so it can't do any BD+ stuff

A friend of mine is selling his as he has just got a new player with his TV. He has never updated or done anything to this player update wise as he mainly plays DVD's and uses Sky for HD.
So are these still worth buying? I dont want to buy it and then not be able to play the latest Blu's and no possibiltiy of firmware updates from any compatible machines momitsu etc.
Any advice appreciated.
Cheers

i'd say it's worth it, it's played everything i've thrown at it, region a and b, which is more than can be said for most of the big brand players which have needed firmware updates to play titles like Avatar.

Hi Folks,
I brought home a toshiba player from the US to play region A titles but unfortunately it didn't survive the trip - I was going to get it repaired but I reckon it's be as cheap and more convenient to get one of these players - I know this thread is fairly old but are there any UK retailers still selling any of the players mentioned here?
Cheers,
Andy
