Talking please recommend dvd player /freeview recorder (with hard drive) with hdmi connection

Hi folks,
I guess the title of the post says it all. My old dvd player has packed in and I'm after a new one. I'd like one with freeview recording capability (if i have to sit through another of the wife's episodes of home & away, neighbours, hollyoaks etc. I'll die!) and with hdmi connection.

If any of you can give a recommendation, that'd be great. Budget no more than £200.

Cheers!

Thanks for that gavtech, that looks great. Any idea how I'd connect my home cinema system to the panasonic? I currently use a co ax cable

You can get a converter of which THIS is an example.

Do a search in Google for 'Digital to coax converters' for more examples.

If you go for this solution, ensure you get the right type: Optical in / Coax out... not the opposite.
