Hi,

When viewing certain channels through my new PVR te locked to 4:3 aspect ratio.( eg Sky Sports News, UK History) but when viewing direct from my TV through its internal freeview tuner all my channels are 16:9 which is fine.

Any help would be great thanks.

if using a hdmi cable check you are using the correct settings as per the manual

if its scart make sure widescreen has been chosen for playback etc , and use a 21 pin fully wired scart lead

Got it.

SET UP-HDMI Output-4:3--Set to full- (had it at Normal)

Changed my output to 1080p as well to match the recorder
