just wondering if anyone knows a solution to the problem im having.

im trying to copy some live streaming video from my laptop straight onto dvd.
i have tried using "debut video catching software" to copy the screen image straight to my hard drive but when i view it back the picture is choppy.

i have got an lcd tv and use the hdmi connection to connect to my laptop for better viewing and i also have a dvd recorder with scart attachments to my tv plus it also the standard red/white/yellow audio/visual connectors.
is there anyway of recording onto the dvd recorder the image i am viewing on the tv?
would any additional cables/connectors be necessary to help me do this?
