Thomson DTH 7000 DVD recorder

I have lost the manual for this and want to know can it be tuned into the freeview channels .I have just had a freeview TV but when i tune the dvd recorder it only finds the analog stations
Is it digital? if so can anyone tell me how to do it
as it seems a shame to dump it
help would be appreciated
