Issues w/ Receiver & Blu Ray
 

Hello, I am having issues with my receiver when trying to play my Panasonic DMP-BDT 210. My receiver is an Onkyo TX-NR609. The issue is this: when trying to play a dvd there small white spots that pop up all around the screen, and there is also a much larger flicker (which covers the entire screen pretty much). I reordered the receiver and the same issue has been occurring. When I play my direct TV box there are 0 issues, and when I bypass the receiver and connectr straight to the BD/DVD player there are no issues. I called Onkyo and and they reccommended getting an HDMI booster. Should I get the booster, or is there some other way I can fix this. I will post this in other sections too. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

How long are your cables, personally I would try another cable first unless they are long lengths.
