Does anyone know if it is possible to unlock a Sony SLV-D950 DVD/VCR Combi to enable multi region playback?

This unit can be hacked its a samsung hack I cannot remember the model number of the Samsung thou I am sorry www.dvdreviewer.co.uk has the hack

A local dealer uses a Sony branded remote control to make dvd players multi region that looks like this http://www.remotecentral.com/vl700/index.html - i've seen it done. It displays SUCESS when it's done. I think it might be pre-programmed with the codes though.

On most of the dvd players u r right but it is def a remote hack via the remote in the box
