Sharp Bd-HP21H 1080p output problems

I've just bought a new Tv a Samsung Le40a786 and i have an onkyo 605 Amp, connected to the Tv ,when i hook up the Ps3 i'm having no problems getting 1080p, but when i put the Sharp on i can't get the Hp21 to output to 1080p, does anyone have any help?

Sharps Support line said a firmware update should fix the problem, it didn't.............
