ps3 upscale

ps3 upscale

i have a panasonic 50 inch full hd and a ps3 i have 30 odd blu ray films so im used to hd quality watching films but i played austin powers on sd upscaled but disapointed with the picture i am asking the question do i invest in a better blu ray player or do i invest in a oppo or some other upscaling dvd

Upscaling will never match the quality of a true 1080p image, especially on a decent 50 inch screen.

You may be chasing rainbows if you're trying to get anywhere near the same quality from an sd dvd.

Oppo would be an excellent choice for scaling DVD.

Agree the Oppo may help, however you may be after something that is just not possible.
