Denon 2500BT Region Free ?

My apologies if this has been asked before and subsequently answered...

I have a Denon 2500BT, and love it.
However the vast majority of my DVD's are Region 1 I was wondering if any official R1 mod ( disc or hardware mod. ) was available...

Any help is appreciated.

Hi.
You should be able to get a disc sent out from TLC Call 0845 299 8899.
All the best.

Did you get the Denon from TLC as I contacted TLC last week and they will only give you a multiregion disc if you bought it from them

the disk is loaded on the basis of FW/ v1.115 so it will play region 1 DVD but your player will not be loaded with the recent FW 1.118 which deals with the problem of some Universal studio disk so ,it is still a compromise depending which one of these FW version you prefer to keep

I called them last week and was told that unless you get the 2500BT from them, they will not sell the disc to you.

when i applied the MR CD the Denon reads FW v.1.115 ,so i guess this means that the fix included for Universal Studio in v.1.118 ,but I'm very happy to be proven wrong as all i need is a player that has MR and plays all BD witth no problems
