Is it worth changing pannybd30 for denon2500BT

Hi guys,
I've had my panasonic dmp bd30 for nearly a year now. It's currently hooked up to a jvc hd1 through an onkyo 805 and I have to say that it has given a good ,solid performance up to now both in terms of the picture and the sound.
I've reached a point now however where I'm wondering whether upgrading the player to a denon 2500bt will reap any tangible benefits or will I struggle to see any difference in PQ and AQ .The player will be used primarily for watching blu rays as I don't watch many dvds these days on the PJ ( not since my old set up with a screenplay 5700 and denon 2200 dvd player- movie heaven!)
I'm only asking because as I've looked through this particular forum some people think there isn't a night and day difference in blu ray PQ between the budget and higher end players- the higher end players seem to be better at upscaling dvds than the budget ones.
Anyway, i would appreciate some thoughts
Many thanks

I think IMO if you have a big screen the 2500 maybe worth a look. Certainly in terms of sound it is a fantastic machine and one I have been keeping an eye on. It is true though that on most displays pq isn't night and day.

Just got one after having a Sony S550. I've got to say that I cannot tell any difference in PQ, the only thing is that it seems to handle things slightly better (movement, scrolling, etc).

I get the feeling that most people would agree that PQ will be more or less the same between the players. Maybe I should just wait for the next generation of players or perhaps getting something even higher up like the pio lx91.
Cheers
