Samsung player problem

When watching dvds back (blu-ray and SD) There's sometimes a weird shadow like blur around moving things in the film, like people moving or the camera panning across buildings. Does anyone know what this is and how to stop it?

Cheers in advance.

Re: Samsung player problem

24p? sorry im still getting used to the terminology.

What sort of processing is able to be turn off?

I have recently updated the firmware on it, by plugging a ethernet cable and running the firmware update program, i presume it would download the most recent update.

Sharpness to zero on the TV,unfamiliar with your display but things like NR,EE etc turn them OFF.
