at present using ps3 ,avr350 ,m&k xenons and want to benefit from the hd audio

i need help choosing a new player , must have on board decoding as my "old" amp has no on board decoding (arcam avr350)

i was reading about certain problems with bass management ??? i was looking at a sony 550 but the denon 3800 seems to be the best at present and i dont want to wait for a firmware upgrade that may never come for the solution

or is there something on the horizon as always (sony es)

The Denon has adjustable crossover for all the speakers,the other players can be set to Large or Small.
Pioneers have no decoding for DTS-MA yet but that "should" be coming soon via firmware up date.550 has "full" onboarding decoding.
