Which is better Philips DVP3980 or Toshiba SD580EKTB?

I found these 2 on amazon, they are both around the same price. The toshiba has USB but I'm wondering which performs better?

I have the Philips DVP5990/05 and it is very good and has a front USB port. If you see the thread below, quite a few of us have got this player at Argos, as they seem to stocking it in place of the cheaper Philips DVP3980 for £49.99. Just a thought. Do not know about the Toshiba.
