Hi,

I'm currently using a PS3 for Blu-ray/DVD playback.

Is it normal for the player to always restart the disk from the very beginning after stopping mid-film?

It never gives an option to resume where I left off and is so annoying, I'm considering buying a separate player.

Any help or advice on settings etc would be most welcome.

Hi, the resume function has to be implemented on the disk itself, and it is quite normal for the player to start the film back at the beginning

With some discs yes.
