Denon HDMI settings

I have just bought a Pioneer LX5090 which I am going to connect to my Denon DVD-3910 with HDMI. The Denon has a number of different HDMI video settings and I'm wondering which to use:

720p or 1080i?

HDMI (component) or HDMI (RGB)?

Can anyone answer these two questions?
