Hi

Ive had my Panasonic TH37PX80 for a week now and i just cant tell much difference between the tv doing the upscalling and the dvd doing it,If anything i would say the tv makes it just a bit brighter,I bought the dvd player because i was told its a very good upscaler,Ive tried all dvd resolutions,One thing i notice if i have it on (1920x1080i) i will get a short black line near the bottom right hand corner.

It's okay at upscaling, but in the end I sent 576i to my Pioneer PDP-428XD and I think the TV did a better job tbh. I noticed a slight difference in brightness depending if i set to interlaced or progressive if i remember rightly.

I have a Panasonic BD 55 now and I was flicking between the 2 out of interest and I prefered the BD55.

Thanks so then its a case of using the tv I would buy a better dvd player but im going to get a blue-ray sometime next year.
