Before I bash the plastic, I've a rather strange request for any Oppo 981HD owners.

I have limited space available and need to know the upper height of the DVD tray. Difficult to describe but I can push the player back so that it will sit in behind the front horizontal bar of my rack, but there is limited space below the bar, hence I need to know how high the tray is so that it doesn't foul when ejecting.

According to my measurements the top of the tray, when extended, is approximately one and a half inches, or 40 mm above the supporting shelf. Hope this fits your rack.
