I need a DVD player with USB/SD slot, must play DivX and have good media compatability, preferably slimline and lightweight.

The Phillips DVP5990 has been recommended on similar threads, but I don't need the upscaler/HDMI because it's just being used on a SD TV.

Would also ideally like something cheaper than that, but don't want a piece of crap

But some places say it can play video through USB/SD, but others say it can't?
