Cambridge Audio 53

Does anyone have one of these or have any experience, I can only find one review and that seems good, but it looks like I am going to be cornered into getting one of these as richer sounds don't have the model I want. I want to make sure I am not going to get another duff model though.

Thanks,

Rob

Yeah, but I have a faulty dvd player with richer sounds that is over 30 days old. So I assume I can only get another one with them, the other one from them I wanted was the LG 4950, but they don't have it in stock, so it either wait, for something which might not come, or go for this one.

What do you think? Which one would you go for that is under £150?

I need 5.1 onboard decoder really, and multiregion.

If you don't need progressive scan the CA players are OK. I got a DVD 55, and in interlaced mode the picture is good, and the sound's OK too. The progressive scan picture is pretty awful on mine tho
