Question Converting DVD R2 Player to Multi Region

Hi,

I've just recently bought a JVC-THA35R Home Cinema system. I'm really pleased with it and the picture and sound quality are very good considering the price (£229 inc VAT & delivery).

However, I naively (I am new to the DVD world) didn't consider the region coding issue and realise that I can only play R0 or R2 discs.

Is there an easy way of going about making the player multi region either by hacking, modifying etc. or am I stuck with that?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Colin
