hi there i have a bush BD01 I performed a hardware update on this machine which renders the remote useless so that is why i ordered the harmony 515 but i cant get it work on the blu ray player all it does is turn off and on,( wish i could just undo the update)

Hi there. Just to check though, are you updating the Harmony with the control settings for the Bush BD01 or the American Insignia player? It needs to be the Insignia settings in order to work, it won't work with the Bush BD01 settings.

i was updating the harmony remote with the settings for the bush how do i update it for the settings for the insignia model,many thanks

Hey mate. What you need to do is add the Blu-Ray player as a device, the model number is Insignia NS-2BRDVD. Basically you have to remember now that the Bush BD01 is dead for all intents and purposes, and what you have is the Insignia NS-2BRDVD so add that and you'll be away.

So just to confirm, you've added the Insignia to your devices, which in turn you have used in your activity? To confirm, ultimately, in no form does the Bush feature in either the devices or the activity?

hi mckee 74,thanks for your help and support,i added the insignia to my devices,it powers off and on but it wont respond to the set commands,when i press chapter next it ejects and also in the led display on the harmony when i press setup or disc menu a message appears on the screen saying prohibited,so what i have decided to do is send it back to the ebay seller who i bought it off with an explanation of what is happening and have purchased one off of ebuyer,a : Foehn & Hirsch Blu-Ray Player which has some good reviews also is multi region discs as a friend has one thanks for your help as well
