Question Few issues with Samsung HT-Z310 home cinema [Mainly regarding playback of xvid files]

Was meant to post this in the "All-in-one Systems" sub forum, feel free to move / delete this thread. Sorry!

Recently purchased a Samsung HT-Z310 [came with my LE40A556], was wondering if there are any solutions to these small issues [mainly regarding playback of xvid files];

  1. When playing xvid files [.avi files on a dvd data disk] if you hit pause during playback, after about three minutes the system goes back to the main "home page" [root folder] which means you then have to click play again and fast forward all the way back to where you were. Very annoying if you want to pause for a phone call etc etc. Is there an option / firmware upgrade to stop this happening?

  2. When playing xvid files which come with .srt subtitles, the font of the .srt during playback is very small and completely white, this makes it almost impossible to read during very bright scenes. Is there a way to change the playback font? Or does the HT-Z310 support subtitles in other formats, such as .sub etc?

  3. If you press info on the remote during playback of an xvid file it tells you how far into the video you are but I can't work out how to find out how much of the file is left? Surely there must be a way to find this out?

  4. Finally, no matter how many times i play around with the "av sync" in the menu, i can't get the tv speakers to be in sync with the home cinema speakers? My brother says it isn't possible, surely there must be a way?
Thanks in advance for any replies!
