Tevion DVD3602 Disc memory function.

Does anyone know if or how you can get this player to remember where you've watched up to?
At the moment if you switch off before finishing the film, it goes back to the start of the disc when pressing powering up again, bloody irritating.
I've a couple of old Pioneer DVD players that will memorize the point at which I shut down and restart where I left off.
Am I asking too much of a 35 quid player....
