Onkyo DVD player recommendation

Since I've got an Onkyo 606 and am considering a HDMI output dvd player I waas thinking of an Oknyo model - either the DV-SP405 or 406.
Any good/bad/indifferent comments?

This months What HiFi gave the 406 5 stars. Am picking one up myself once i can actually find one that's multi region.

Have you managed to find one that is multi-region?

If I can find a multi-region one I think I will go for this too, but can't seem to find a multi-region version.

i've got an older 504 which is multi region - done via a service remote. hopefully the new models will be a similar type hack but don't know for sure
