Arcam DV27 PAL question

Due to the lack of current Buffy DVD releases in the US, I've started buying them from the UK.

One thing I noticed with these disks is that on my equipment, they are slightly out of frame. I.e., there is some material missing from the bottom of the screen. It’s not a lot, but e.g. introductory credits are cropped if they are more than one line. Also there is a bit of a gap at the top of my screen as well.

I’m using:

Arcam DV27 DVD player set to auto for TV type and region
Via Pioneer VSX-49TX component video switching
Sanyo PLV60-HT projector set up for auto on the video source
Stewart GrayHawk screen (wide screen 1:85:1)

Anyone have any ideas as to what might be causing the problem?

Thanks for your help
