Which Denon box should I use for video upscaling?

I have the Denon 2930 DVD player and I'm getting the Denon 3808 receiver next week. These will be used with a new 1080p plasma TV, all connected via HDMI, and I'd like some advice on which box will provide the better video upscaling for DVDs.

I know the 2930 has the Silicon Optix REON chip set, but I don't know what the 3808 has. Can anyone provide this information and suggest which of the two boxes I should use for doing the upscaling?

I have the 2930 and am about to get the 4308 and have been told to use the upscaling of the player itself. It does a beautiful job. Absolutely love this player

Thanks - that's exactly what I needed to know. I like the 2930 too, especially its great memory buffer, which makes layer changes totally invisible!
