Upscaling DVD

Hi

Im sure you get this question all the time but any help is appreciated.

I have recently bought a lovely 42" Panasonic TH42PZ70 plasma but have never had a HD source/picture through it. I intend to buy a PS3 at some point (way in future) but it looks like my current cr4ppy dvd player might be on the blink. Therefore to get a better picture than I currently get I thought I might look at a cheap upscaling dvd. I dont want to spend a lot as I dont have it, plus its coming out of the PS3 budget. I have seen some on ebay for £30 or so - are these just not worth it though ?

Anyway, what do you all recommend.

Thankyou again.

Wouldn't buy cheap electricals off ebay if my life depended on it.Try a Tesco Extra store,at least you've got the chance to return it without getting stung.

And they've got a decent choice too.
