sony vs toshiba dvd player?

Hello,
After a little advice/help please.
I'm currently looking for a new dvd player and have kind of created a short list of players that I think get decent reviews and write ups:
1- Sony s735 - Good reviews 2 scarts rgb loop thru, old model
2- Sony s705 - latest equivelent of above 1 scart tho!
3-Toshiba 520 - newer player rave reviews, tosh seem to make only good players whatever price

Would also like to have or be able to multi region as well.

Tv is Sony 32FQ75 with 1 rgb scart so the twin scart with rgb loop through of the 735 would be very useful to use with my digibox but do the newer players offer better quality images/audio?

Any other recommendations welcome as I have also been looking at an old Tosh9000 at £99 but think the above would match/better it now.

Thanks for any help...Andrew

PS Trying to spend as close to £200 as I can...or less!!!

Andrew,
I have a Sony 900 and value the RGB loopthru alot, I also have a US Toshiba SD 4700 and think it is a better player overall but not Scarted.
A UK Toshiba would be my choice if you can cope with one Scart (I cannot), the Sony FF is not very good and RGB is quite dark.
Why not try some Thomson decks with loopthru, a friend has one and it is good - except the remote!
Ged.

Question £99!!!

Wow where have you seen the Toshiba SD9000 for £99?

Was it new?

Its a few years old now but from what I saw of it before getting the SD900e its still a belter of a DVD player.
