36" TV - DVD upgrade worth it ?

Is there any real beneit in upgrading from a Tosh 520e to something live a Pioneer 757 or Denon 2800mkII on a 36" NTSC prog scan TV (tosh 36ZD26) ?

I'm thinking purely in terms of picture quality with a mixture of R1 and R2 discs

I suggest you try the 757 with this TV and you will be pleasantly surprised against the Toshiba player
