no hdmi signal

no hdmi signal on a Onkyo TX-SR-875

plugged my Panasonic s52 to day to a Onkyo TX-SR-875 and got no signal ?????? i tryed a ps3 that worked and a samsung 860 and that worked?

wot is wrong with player does it need a firmware update also it is hdmi 1.2a the amp is 1.3a will that make a differance?

Re: no hdmi signal on a Onkyo TX-SR-875

I should point out I don't have any specific experience with that unit, but it may be that it won't output anything over the HDMI connection until it has been set to do so. Find a phono cable lying around and connect it through composite, that'll almost certainly work for you to check the settings (though you wouldn't want to watch a movie that way).

i did set the hdmi section to video on and sound on

Do you get an image if you go straight to your screen rather than via the Onk?

yes it works fine and is still hdimi out . i plug it in amp i get no signal
